There is a lot of attention given to how you lose weight. But we all know lots of people who have never been overweight or struggled with their weight. If we knew what they knew, we could help ourselves and others from gaining weight.
Most of what we know about how people lose weight comes from the 20-year-old National Weight Control Registry. This new Healthy Weight Registry will help us discover how people avoid gaining weight in the first place.
If you meet the eligibility requirements, you’ll be offered the opportunity to take an initial survey that includes questions on topics such as your childhood, food preferences, dining habits, and hobbies, among others. We use this information in order to find unexpected tips and tricks from those of you who have been at a healthy body weight for your entire life.
